What we collect
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect the information you provide: your name, company name, email address, telephone number (if given), your role, how long the business has been trading, its approximate annual revenue range, what is prompting your enquiry, and the content of your message. Why we collect it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where you engage us, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (responding to an enquiry you initiated) and, where applicable, performance of a contract. We do not sell your information, use it for automated decision-making, or add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Cookies and analytics
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it: which pages are viewed, how people arrive (for example from LinkedIn), and roughly where they are. Google Analytics sets cookies only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use advertising cookies. Google Ireland Limited acts as our processor for this data, which is kept for 14 months.
Your choice is remembered on your device. You can change it at any time: cookie settings.
Who processes your data
Our website and form submissions are hosted by Netlify, Inc. Email is provided by Microsoft 365. Call scheduling is provided by Calendly LLC. Website analytics (with your consent) is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Each acts as a processor on our behalf; some are based in the United States and rely on approved safeguards (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, then deleted, unless you become a client (in which case records are kept as required for legal, accounting and regulatory purposes) or ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@exitcfo.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
